L.O: To add money

https://vimeo.com/498286318 This video also shows you some cheeky tricks for adding on 99p 98p etc

English

L.O: To analyse a recipe

This week you are going to be looking at some disgusting recipes. They definitely don't look as nice as the healthy ones you followed last week! See the sheet for more details.

Reading

L.O: To use inference skills

What can you tell from the picture Mrs Scammell has given you?

Geography

L.O: To identify the features of mountains

We are continuing your knowledge of physical geography features.

Today you will be learning all the key features of a mountain.

Start the lesson by drawing what you think a mountain looks like.

Watch https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/z27tfg8

Did the mountain look like your drawing? Think about what was similar and what was different.

Have a look at this video https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/class-clips-video/expedition-to-guyana-mount-roraima-no-narration/z6c7nrd

What was different about the shape of this particular mountain?

Task 1 – Spend some time looking at the diagram of a mountain and learning the names and definitions of the different features. Can you challenge yourself by covering them up and trying to remember them?

Task 2 – Use the worksheet to draw a picture of a mountain, I wonder how similar it will be to your original picture that you drew at the start of the lesson?

Label your new mountain with all the features that you have learnt today.

Challenge – Can you remember the definitions of the features without looking back at the diagram?
