Year 5 - Home learning Friday 27th November
Date: 24th Nov 2020 @ 1:35pm
ate set: Friday 27/11/2020
To be completed by: Wednesday 2/11/2020
Children in Year 5 are expected to complete 50 minutes of homework each week. Please help and support your child wherever possible. However, your child should be able to complete the work independently as it is linked to objectives taught during the week at school. Although homework is now set through online platforms, your child’s teacher is able to see if your child has completed tasks set and how well they have understood the task. Rewards will be given to children for completing homework on time.
Maths Focus:Multiplying by 10 and 100 or Mutiples Remember the digits move to the meft when multiplying and the right when dividing. The decimal point never moves! Please login to your MyMaths account (www.mymaths.co.uk). Your child’s passwords has been sent out on the Y5 newsletter. This week's learning is all about factors and primes. Use what we have done in school (factor bugs/arrays using resources) to help you complete this task. Times Tables Please continue to use your TTRockstars account to practice your times tables. Your child’s password has been sent out in the Y5 newsletter. Reading for pleasure Please continue to read at least three times a week to an adult or by yourself. You are all doing so well with your reading and it's great to hear how enthused you are about particular authors. Although we aren't using our reading logs at the moment, your teacher still wants to hear all about the fantastic texts you are reading at home. |
