Y5PH go to the woods

As we’re celebrating STEAM, Y5PH went to the woods do some fun maths.  We were trying to calculate the height of a tree and investigating which method we thought was best.  At the end of the afternoon everyone agreed they’d had a lovely time. Jess said, “I like learning outside”.  Umaire agreed saying, “It’s fun doing something different outside”.  Finally Sofia remarked, “It’s good to do group activities”.
