Y5B - Planet Models

Just before half term, Y5B made some Solar System models in Science. We had been learning about how the Sun, Earth, Moon and planets were spherical bodies. We researched the sizes of the different planets then scaled them down to make our models as accurate as possible. We made the planets by making a ball out of newpaper and foil, then covering it in plasticine. It was very fun!
