Y4WL's finished Weather Dance!

In Spring 1, we completed a dance topic about the weather. We learnt how to create a solo, duet, quartet and large group dance. We used words such as repetition, exaggerate, speed, levels, travel and dynamics to turn our mime-like actions into dance moves. We learnt what a motif is and how to change the motif by dancing in unison or cannon.

"The dances that did in groups and on our own were very fun" - Jessica.

"I really enjoyed doing the dance this half term because it is very fun and active" - Isobel.

"All the dances that we did were either about the rain or thunder and lightning" - William.
