Wider Curriculum – Science - Habitats
LO: To recognise that living things can be grouped in a variety of ways.
Explore and use classification keys to help group, identify and name a variety of living things.
Read through and follow PowerPoint 1 to recap on last lesson.
Read through PowerPoint 2, which discusses how living things can be classified in different ways.
Print out the words and pictures on the ‘Vertebrates Photo Sorting Cards’ task sheet or write the words and names of the animals – sorting them into the different categories - mammals, fish, reptile, amphibian and bird.
Complete the vertebrates activity sheet – a flow of chart, answering questions about each animal.

PSHE – Anti-Bullying – Upstander or Bystander?
Read through the discussion cards and see if you can answer the questions.
Create a poster like the WAGOLL showing the important message of being an upstander and not a bystander.
