LO: to use recorded observations to review and revisit ideas, using different materials.
Choose one of the paintings on the PDF. Write notes around the painting on:
- Use of paint
- Use of colour
- Expressions
- Backgrounds
- Details
Task – Draw your own version of the painting you have chosen on a plain piece of paper in pencil. It should fill the size of an A4 piece of paper but can be bigger if you prefer (not smaller).
It should be a simple, line drawing that you will block with colours of paint next week.

To carry out the experiment, you will need:
- Orange juice to represent acid in the stomach
- Water to represent saliva
- Cream crackers and a banana for food
- A bowl to represent the body
- A plastic cup
- A paper cup with a hole in the bottom
- A freezer bag
- Tights
- Scissors
On the Task sheet, explain what happens at each stage of the digestive system.

PSHE
Read the story about Aiden.
Afterwards discuss your thoughts with someone. If everyone is busy think about how you would answer these questions:
What would you have done if they were Aiden?
Do you think Aiden’s friendship with Eddie is a healthy (positive) one? Was it to begin with? What changed?
On a piece of paper, draw a table with two columns. At the top write healthy (positive) friendship and unhealthy (negative) friendship. Write a list of as many things as you can. If you’ve got time could you turn these points in a poster? You could do it on the computer and find images to match some of your statements.

Remember that you should be trying to be active for one hour a day. We know that this can be tricky. We have included some activities for you to try.
