Y3SC Fantastic Forces

This half term Y3SC have been answering the Science question "Are Magnets Magic?" We have been learning about magnets attracting and repelling. We now know which metals are magnetic and some of us even designed magnetic menus for The Iron Man. We have also been looking at the effect of friction on objects. We used pull back cars to see how they travelled over different surfaces and we found out that the rougher or more uneven the surface, the greater the impact of the friction. Enjoy our photos!
