LO: To investigate how Stone Age people communicated
LO: To use early art as an inspiration
What a discovery! We have found amazing cave paintings under our tables! We used charcoal, chalk and natural colours to create our very own cave art inspired by the real life caves in Lascaux. We had to lie on our backs and draw onto the underside of the table - a bit of a challenge! We drew animals and creatures that would've existed in the Stone Age. Some of us even drew early Britons hunting! Come into class to take a look at our amazing artwork!
Isaac - "It was an amazing experience to try and recreate the amazing artwork they had made"
Isa - "It was very hard to avoid getting charcoal on you when you were painting upside down under the table and we tried really hard doing these."
What fantastic learning Y3RW! :)
