Y3SC have been investigating why plants need leaves. We have been observing basil plants over the past few weeks. The basil plants have different numbers of leaves on.
We learnt that plants need leaves to stay alive. Leaves make food for the plant. They use light, water and carbondioxide. This is called Photosynthesis.
