Finding equivalent decimals and fractions

In maths this week we have been learning about tenths and hundredths and their decimal equivalent. We have been placing them on number lines to see how big they are and also matching them up with each other. Here is some work that some of us did today.

- ' I found the number line work easy becuase I could see where the fractions and decimals were supposed to go'

- ' I found multiplying and dividing by 10 hard because of the changing place value columns'

- ' One similarity between tenths and decimals is that they mean the same amount'
