English lesson- Analysis of journalistic articles

Today (21st October 2019), we analysed a selection of journalistic articles in order to select all of the text features we need to use in our own writing. The pictures shows all of the common/different text features that journalists use. We have worked on the genre of recount in Y5, so we are familiar with the features and will use this to master our journalistic writing. 

In the following lessons, we will be taking on the role of a journalist and researching all about a relevant rainforest issue ready for our own journalistic article.
