Day 3

A late breakfast, then straight into the conquest zone  for solo phaser battles. Sam and Toby emerged victorious from the 1st game.

Next game was boys versus the girls plus Toby. After a frantic 8 minutes the teams emerged to discover that the boys team had earned 2060 points while the girls had racked up an impressive 3100 points. A conclusive result for team work.

What do you do with 4 large blue barrels, 4 large logs and some rope? Build a buggies and race them. Sam B and Nayan were the the expert knoters but neither buggy ran true so there were a number of near misses

The afternoon activities began with survival skills. The children learned to build shelters and how to use a fire stick and steel to start a fire. Joe, Sam, Henry and Harry constructed a fair shelter and were completely engrossed in keeping their fire going.

Final activity was abseiling which particularly thrilled the girls who can't wait for the climbing wall tomorrow.

The day ended with silly songs and shaggy dog stories in front of a camp fire.
