Condover Day 1 Sheffield United

The trip from Sheffield to Condover Hall was very good, the only hair raising bit was squeezing the coach through the 400 year old gate posts which were designed for small carriages. After meeting our group leaders and taking a tour of the buildings and grounds, the children were assigned to their activity groups and the fun began.The first activity for group 4 was the gladiator wall, a 40ft vertical obstacle course. Despite some hesitancey all the children fought through the fear and achieved a respectable high point before peeling off and lowering back to Mother Earth. Ekam clearly enjoyed the experience while Riley carried on despite his sensible side's best attempts to return him to the ground as quickly as possible.

After a team footie game and a hearty dinner, we relaxed in front of Paddington 2 before turning in for the night.
