Y5 Science Ambassadors go to Sheffield Hallam University

Date: 14th Jun 2019 @ 3:36pm

The Science Ambassadors travelled to Sheffield Hallam University, to share with other Science Ambassadors from nearby schools, what we have achieved this year.  The day began with each school sharing photos and describing the various tasks they had participated in during the year.  We talked about how successful the Y3 &Y4 science clubs have been this year and we also told everyone about our exciting new plans for Majorie's garden.

Then each school ran their own little workshop, where visitors to the event, and other ambassadors, could come along and learn something new.  Our little tank cotton reels were very popular and everyone was amazed by the electromagnets.

After lunch, some people from Our Cow Molly came to share with the children how to make ice cream using some ice, salt and a pint of double cream.  We all agreed it was delicious!
