Y3MW re-create Stonehenge

Date: 15th Nov 2018 @ 12:37pm

Having immersed ourselves in Stone Age Day on Tuesday, Y3MW learnt all about Stonehenge and how it was built on Wednesday.

Following a whistlestop tour explaing what all the different stones were (can your child name them?), we learned how the Stone Agers moved the largerest stones. As you can see, Ruby made a very good stone while the children on the floor were excellent rollers.

Using our teamwork skills,Y3MW tried to re-create Stonehenge using a variety of biscuits. The children perservered, recovering from accidental knock downs (Zac!) and even the occasional earthquake caused by Mr White. Eventually, all the children produced Biscuithenge and were very happy to help eat (some of!) the biscuits afterwards.
