Y6 Climate Change Strike

'DOBCROFT SCHOOL PLANET EARTH PLEDGE'

Today, we (Y6) striked from our afternoon lessons to make placards and pledges to raise awareness about climate change. We learned all about Greta Thunberg, the climate activist, who started a youth movement against climate change. Our assembly reminded us about all of the reasons why our planet's climate is changing and what we can do on a small-scale to help the planet on a larger scale. In addition to this, three very kind visitors came in to teach us all about what we can do to help the planet and to support us with our pledges .
