LO: To locate Mountains in Europe

Today you will need access to a map on the internet or an atlas if you have one at home.  Have a look at today’s Powerpoint then try to locate the mountains listed.

The ** sheet involves labelling

The *** is the challenge involving research – how much knowledge can you absorb?

I’ve tried to find some maps to help if you don’t have an atlas. Google maps is good,

https://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/figures/major-mountain-ranges-of-europe-1 good for seeing how high areas of Europe are

https://geology.com/world/europe-physical-map.shtml

good for seeing where the mountain ranges are

https://www.euratlas.net/geography/europe/mountains/balkan_mountains.html

this one you can click on the name of the mountain range and it shows it on a map – winner!!

Tuesday (Mrs Collis’ birthday)
