Y4EF discuss fractions!

Y4EF have been investigating what fractions are this morning. We clarified that a fraction is part of a whole and had lots of discussion about where we might see fractions in the real world and the children came up with some fantastic examples! Next week, the children will be learning all about equivalent fractions therefore the concept of a fraction wall was introduced today. The children then created their very own fraction wall that will come in extremely handy next week! A fantastic day :)
