Money Sense Natwest workshop

Date: 23rd May 2019 @ 11:12am

Lizzie from Natwest  came to visit our Year Sixes today- for the second time. Our first workshop introduced the children to staying safe online and keeping our identity private. In today's 'money sense' workshop, we learned all about how to manage our money.

The children were asked to discuss all of the things they may have to pay for when they become adults (insurance, tax, tv license, phone bills, water, gas, electric etc). The children came up with these themselves! They discussed how to manage money so that they can afford to pay for certain things.

For their task, they were asked to plan a party. They were given £400 to plan a party for 20 people and they were also given a costing list. Ask your children what they decided to include and how much they spent... cake may have been a priority for some :)
